Brain Training Games
I. Highlight the gamified experiences on the Elevate app

- Elevate uses a rewards and badge system, where users can earn rewards and badges for completing exercises and reaching certain milestones. This can provide a sense of accomplishment and motivation for users to continue using the app.
- Elevate app adjusts the difficulty of the exercises based on the user’s performance by using the option to turn on Show Game statistics/Difficulty levels, which can help to keep the user challenged and motivated.
- Elevate app allows users to purchase additional content and features called in-app purchases such as new games and exercises, which can help to keep users engaged and motivated.
- Elevate app provides a detailed progress report to the users, which can help them to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and track their progress over time.
- Elevate app allows users to share their progress, achievements, or high scores on social media platforms, which can help to create a sense of community and competition among users.
- Elevate app provides daily and weekly challenges to users to help them to stay engaged and motivated.

II. Come up with 5 top things I would like to add/subtract from the app
- Remove any repetitive exercises: To keep the app fresh and engaging, I would like to remove any repetitive exercises that users may find boring or uninteresting. This would be based on user feedback, and constantly updating the content and exercises offered in the app to ensure it stays relevant to the users.
- Introduce virtual rewards: To enhance user engagement and motivation, I would like to add virtual rewards such as virtual currency, avatars, and other in-game items that users can earn and collect.
- Leaderboards: The app should have a leaderboard feature, which allows users to compete with other users and see how they rank in terms of progress and performance on a particular topic & an overall leaderboard as well.
- Integration with wearables: I would like to add integration with popular wearables such as smartwatches and fitness trackers, which can provide additional data on users’ physical activity and sleep patterns to enhance the training experience.
- Multi-language support: To cater to users who speak different languages, I would like to add multi-language support to the app, making it accessible to a wider audience. Not a Duolingo competitor, yet sticking to the brain game with no language barrier to serve across the nationalities.
- Virtual reality support: To make the experience more engaging and immersive, I would like to add virtual reality support to the app, which can offer a new way to experience the games and exercises.
- In-app messaging and community forum: To create a sense of community and support among users, I would like to add an in-app messaging feature and community forum, where users can connect with each other and share tips and advice on how to improve their cognitive abilities.
III. Detail down at least one of the above 5 for specifics
I’d choose to execute multi-language support in the Elevate app, the following steps can be taken:
- Identify the languages to be supported
The first step would be to identify the languages that are to be supported in the app. This would involve analyzing the user base and determining which languages would be most beneficial to include based on user demographics and market research.
Eg: According to a world study Korean seems to be the most promising & sought language with Netflix introducing more content in the same, plus Udemy saw more than 100% engagement in its courses. Thanks to the trends in the lines of Gangnam Style became the ‘most-watched video of all time’ on YouTube within 5 months of its release, BTS music, & pop culture are the main drivers among the youth & GenZ.
2. Translate the app content
Once the languages to be supported have been identified, the next step would be to translate the app content. This would involve working with professional translators to ensure that the translations are accurate and idiomatic.
3. Integrate the translations into the app
After the translations have been completed, the next step would be to integrate them into the app. This would involve updating the app’s code to include the new translations and adding a language selection feature that allows users to switch between languages.
4. Test the app in different languages
Before launching the multi-language support to the users, it would be important to test the app in different languages to ensure that it is working correctly and without any bugs. This would involve conducting user acceptance testing and beta testing with a select group of users who speak different languages.
5. Launch the feature
After the feature has been tested and any bugs have been fixed, it can be launched to the users. This would involve updating the app and communicating the new feature to users through in-app notifications, emails or social media.
6. Monitor and maintain the feature
Once the feature is launched, it would be important to monitor its usage and performance and make any necessary changes or updates. This would involve gathering user feedback and analyzing the data to see.
I hope the above brings a new direction to how things can evolve in the course of time.
